KEB Hana Bank wins two titles at The Asian Banker Excellence In Retail FS Awards 2018

KEB Hana Bank was awarded The Best Retail Bank in Korea for 2018 and The Best Blockchain Initiative, Application or Program at The Asian Banker’s International Excellence in Retail Financial Services 2018 Awards ceremony, held in conjunction with The Asian Banker Digital Finance Convention at the Westin Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

The Asian Banker is the region’s most authoritative provider of strategic business intelligence to the financial services community. The company is headquartered in Singapore and evaluates more than 400 banks and non-bank retail financial service players in more than 40 countries in a thorough evaluation process every year. The International Excellence in Retail Financial Service program is probably the most rigorous, prestigious and transparent awards program for consumer financial services in the world. The Asian Banker stated “Hana Financial Group made a well global presence and digital leadership in the financial industry.”

To leverage its global presence and digital leadership, Hana Financial Group (HFG) launched the Global Loyalty Network (GLN) initiative. GLN is a one-stop program service for all virtual currencies, on a single platform with global usability; wherein it aims to create a shared-loyalty platform that is built on blockchain technology.
